More than a display showroom…

W&R am main wholesale saree supplier for major saree shops all around Sri Lanka. Their showroom is more than just a display showroom. It functions in an unusual way, as it is designed to cater to a wholesale market rather than a typical retail shop. The buyers come to select bulk stocks on the showroom floor, much like a wholesale saree shop interior in India.

Our design team aimed to create a space that is functional, comfortable and visually appealing. The geometric shapes and vivid colors used in the design play off against the intricate product elements to create a visually stimulating environment. The lighting was carefully selected to be clear and bright, with a comfortable level of lumens for the selected spaces.

The layout of the showroom was also carefully planned with ergonomics in mind, to make the process of selecting products easier and more efficient for buyers.To make the selection process more convenient for customers, we opted for a low-height display layout with products laid out on the floor in bulk lots, rather than wall-height pigeon holes. Additionally, a separate area was created for customers to relax and wait comfortably with bean bag seats, as the selection process can be time-consuming. Overall, our design transformed the showroom into a functional and visually appealing wholesale market space that meets the unique needs of W&R's customers.
