As social encounters become increasingly dependent on hotel entrance lobbies, it's important to create a memorable and attractive space for guests to interact and linger. For hotels in Sri Lanka, tropical themes inspired by colonial luxury are especially appealing to foreigners visiting the hill country. With direct views of lush green tea estates, the lobby at the N' Eliya hotel proposed by WBTE was designed with a European luxury interior influence and a tropical architectural combination. The use of wooden, minimally detailed colonial period furniture adds to the luxury living feeling and gives guests a real Sri Lankan natural experience with comfort. The hotel's corridors were also designed to give maximum viewing ability to showcase the mountain valley view and offer a quality service that sets them apart from other hotels in the area.
