Cargills Ceylon, the franchised dealer in Sri Lanka, is dedicated to serving local customers with food that reflects the Sri Lankan palate while maintaining international standards.Our team approached the design of the KFC Kandy outlet with the challenge of balancing the global brand standards while also capturing the essence of Kandy's culture.

We wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere that would enhance the customer's dining experience while showcasing the beauty and charm of Kandy.We began the project by studying Kandy's unique cultural heritage, including its history, architecture, and natural surroundings. Kalota team aimed to incorporate these elements into the interior design of the outlet. We used an open-space concept to optimize the given area while ensuring practicality and functionality.The lighting and graphics were planned thoughtfully, and we used color schemes that complemented Kandy's traditional architecture and natural surroundings.

We also aimed to preserve the cultural elements of Kandy's building exterior while designing the interior to create a unique atmosphere that captures the essence of Kandy. We carefully balanced these cultural elements with KFC's branding guidelines to ensure that the final result would be visually appealing and cohesive. We worked closely with the management team to ensure that the project was completed on time and within budget.
