Dr. Hemali's Residence at Wijerama

This interior design project was undertaken for a family of two busy doctors residing in Wijerama, Nugegoda. Given their hectic lifestyle, the family had very limited time to spend at home, and thus requested a revamp of the ground floor to reflect their personal style and taste in interior design.One of the key elements the family wanted incorporated into their new living space was the use of epoxy and timber mixed tables, which they loved.

Our team at Kalota worked closely with the family to create a design concept that met their needs and requirements. This involved reconfiguring the existing layout and making some electrical changes to accommodate the new design.The ground floor features an open courtyard with a major ventilation opening, which we leveraged to create a living and dining area that feels open and airy. The new design incorporates modern epoxy tables and coffee tables, which add a touch of elegance to the space. We also installed comfortable sofas and rugs to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere for the family to relax and unwind in.Overall, we are thrilled with the final outcome of this project and believe that it perfectly captures the family's personal style while also providing a comfortable and functional living space that they can enjoy for years to come.
